And now about how to massage the abdomen!
For proper and high-quality massage, you need to contact a specialist. You can also try giving yourself a massage. To do this, you need to learn the techniques and sequence of the massage!
Techniques for abdominal massage are not at all different from techniques for other types of massage. This is stroking, rubbing, kneading, and patting.
1. Stroking is a technique to reduce tension. This can be done with the palm of your hand, its back, or your fingertips. Wrist is positioned perpendicular or across to the massaged muscles, the fingers can be connected or spread apart. It’s important to remember that when stroking the surface of the hand adjoins the skin with the same pressure.
Stroking improves the external condition of the skin, making it “breathable”.
2. Rubbing – technique after stroking. The main movements are circular and sliding.
3. Kneading – a technique in which the massage therapist compresses the tissues with his hands and fingers. Thanks to this technique, the restoration of functional muscle failure is achieved, the process of oxygen exchange takes place.
4. Patting – these are blows with hands and fingers on the tissues. Usually the technique is performed with the palmar part of the phalanges or with the fingertips. The blow should be elastic, short and, most importantly, painless. The skin after the massage should be clean, without bruises and abrasions.
And now consider the sequence of exercises: you lie on your back, arms are along the body, the legs are bent at the knees. Then you need to put your hands on your stomach and gently massage it.
After that, rub the folds on the stomach from right to left and vice versa, then from bottom to top. This exercise reduces fat deposits and strengthens the skin, making it supple and elastic.

Next, place your hands on your stomach so that your thumbs point towards your navel and the space between your hands looks like a triangle. So we begin the kneading technique.
Another very effective exercise is to make circles on your stomach in a clockwise direction with your hands. My grandma used to do this when I was a kid and it really helped!
Do each exercise for 1-2 minutes and move on to the next. Exercises can be repeated if you feel good and comfortable.
The effect of massage can be improved with essential oils, such as rosemary, mint, lemon, almond, peach oil. The ideal oil for massage can be called almond oil. It’s soft, works well on the skin, smells good and is suitable for all skin types.
For effectiveness, massage regularly. Perform all exercises for 15-20 minutes every day. It is recommended that newcomers massage for 5 minutes and increase its time by a minute every day.
Be healthy!
